The tag cost are what cattle owners will have to be concerned about. Tagging cattle requires equipment and labor.
Reports say, Governor Perry is imposing a head tax under ID tagging.
Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance reports, the agency has not shown the costs of mandatory identification.
Reports say, the proposed rule means more costs for sale barns which will be passed on to animal owners.
