Tyler, Tx — The fallout continues from Bob Costas'' sermon about gun control on national TV.
Now, Bob is spinning that he didn't have enough time to cover all the issues in the commentary.
No, bob. the problem is people watch football to get away from their problems and the real world and you got in the way with your ill-timed commentary. A commentary containing a subject that you are probably now amazed that so many disagree with you.
Costas' says it's the same old folks working in concert going after him. So far, Bob has been condescending, I think, in his remarks.
Joe Namath was on CNN recently. When asked about the gun problem he said this.
"We're very difficulty animals to pinpoint. We're a little but quirky. I think it's always going to be a problem dealing with
firearms and knives.
It's the animals we are that causes the problem."
Namath makes a great point. In the blame everything and everyone world, the problem is the animal in us, not the gun.
More facts are coming out now showing the football player was a bully and had trouble when he did not get his way.
That's your problem.
We're a long way now from the generation of maturity when we owned our mistakes and took responsibility for our actions.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
