Japan — A tsunami warning was issued for Japan Friday morning after a magnitude 7.3 earthquake hit off the coast.
The warning has since been lifted and a small tsunami wave of around three feet was reported.
The strong earthquake was centered off the coast of north-eastern Japan, the same area as last year's devesatating earthquake and tsunami.
Friday's quake shook buildings as far away as Tokyo.
Despite its large size, there are no reports of any injuries or damage.
