U.S. — Apple parts supplier Foxconn Technology Group says it is considering expanding its U-S operations.
The announcement comes just one day after Apple said it would start making some Macs in this country.
Foxconn is a key part of Apple's supply chain in China.
But the company has caused some trouble for Apple, as details of the poor working conditions at Foxconn factories were made public.
A Foxconn spokesman told Bloomberg that the expansion in the U-S was being made to satisfy the desires of its customers, who want more parts made in America.
But it's unclear what Foxconn's expansion would mean for American job seekers.
In China, Foxconn traditionally houses employees in dormitories and subjects them to what most Americans would consider unbearably long hours and tough working conditions.
