LUFKIN — An elderly Lufkin man has died following a fire in his house.
According to KTBB, Johnny King, 72, was pulled through a bedroom window by neighbors.
He was flown to a Houston hospital where he later died.
The fire was reported around 9:00 Monday morning in the 100 block of Lubbock Street.
The cause of the fire appears to be electrical, but is still under investigation.
