Executive director of Gregg County Historical Museum steps down

Gregg County — Neina Kennedy said Monday she will step down as executive director of the Gregg County Historical Museum effective Thursday.

Kennedy has accepted the office manager’s position at Kane Security after leading the historical museum on Fredonia Street in Longview for six years. Her last day running the museum is Thursday, adding a farewell element to the facility’s annual Christmas gathering that night.

“It’s been a wonderful, amazing ride,” she said. “We have done a lot of good work.”
