Gilmer — Upshur County officials are investigating after carcasses of three dogs were found under a bridge east of Gilmer.
The discovery occurred Monday under the Cypress Creek Bridge at FM 726 and Texas 154, Upshur County Sheriff’s Capt. Gary Roberts said Tuesday.
One of the dogs was found in a black garbage bag, one in a feed sack and the other was lying out in the open, Roberts said.
