Longview, TX — This weekend gun enthusiasts in East Texas will head to Longview for the cities first gun show of the year. The gun show also happens to be the first show after last months school shooting in Connecticut.
Attendance across the nation at gun shows has been up since the shooting on December 14 at Sandy Hook Elementary school.
With the uncertainity about gun control in the future gun owners and first time buyers are looking to buy before any sort of ban is put in place.
This weekends show in Longview will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Exhibition Building at the Maude Cobb Convention Center. Tickets are $8.
