Update: All traffic lights are now working properly

Tyler (KETK) — UPDATE: All traffic lights are now operative and functioning properly.

Due to a blown transformer the traffic lights located at the intersections of N. Beckham Ave. at E. Lines St. , N. Broadway Ave. at W. Gentry Pkwy and many of the smaller intersections located around Tyler's square are not functioning.

Stop signs have been placed at N. Beckham Ave. at E. Lines St. and N. Broadway Ave. at W. Gentry Pkwy  to aid drivers pasting through those intersections.

It is unknown when the traffic lights will be operating correctly.

The Tyler Police Department is asking drivers traveling through the above locations to do so carefully.
