TYLER (KETK) — A man was robbed at a Tyler hotel late Thursday night.
It happened at the Lone Star Motel on the 3200 block of West Gentry Pkwy around 11:40pm.
The man told Tyler Police that he was sitting in his vehicle outside of the hotel waiting for it to warm up when he was approached by a black man wearing a dark-colored ski mask.
The robber asked him for a cigarette.
When the man refused, the robber pulled out a handgun and demanded all his money.
He handed the robber an undetermined amount of cash, and the robber ran away.
The victim wasn't injured, and the case is still under investigation.
