Tyler, Tx (KETK) — I can usually count on New York Senator Charles Schumer to come up with some of the most ridiculous political diatribe. And once again, he does not disappoint.
While there is tension from both the left and right currently about the gun debate, Schumer uttered this Sunday.
Schumer calls on retailers to help curb gun violence. Senator Charles Schumer said, "It's hard to believe that Walmart, the nation's largest retailer, is being so irresponsible on this issue."
Speaking to press Sunday afternoon, Senator Charles Schumer called out Walmart and a half dozen of the nation's other largest gun retailers, urging them to temporarily halt the sale of semi-automatic weapons until Congress has time to consider new gun control legislation.
"Even if we were able to limit assault weapons and large magazine clips, we'll have to worry about hundreds of thousands of additional weapons on the street that will arrive in the next couple of months alone," Schumer said.
Really?
Charles, this is why they are selling like hot cakes.
The president addressed the gun debate today during a news conference. Mr Obama spoke of "common sense" gun laws.
Really? Whose common sense?
The same folks who told us we'd sign up million for health care and it would not cost anymore? What Washington D.C. has is a trust problem.
Many don't trust this federal government. You have an attorney general on tape saying years ago we need to brain wash people against guns like the government did cigarettes.
Brainwash. This shows you how out of touch they all are.
Yeah, sure. Gun makers and sellers will stop selling what is guaranteed from the 2nd amendment, so you can plot to take it away.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
