Neches ISD closed for day due to overturned tanker

NECHES, TX (KETK) — Neches ISD will be closed Wednesday due to an overturned tanker truck on FM 2574 and FM 19.

That's near an elementary school.

School authoriites tell KETK, the district is unable to run buses, and have been forced to cancel classes as a precaution.

HAZMAT crews are on their way to the scene.

Neches ISD classes had already been delayed until 10:00 am due to weather.
