Tyler, Tx (KETK) — Have you been taking note of what has been going on in the northeast this week? It's been cold.
Man, has it been cold. For the past few nights Scott has been showing temperatures way below zero in the upper Midwest and the northeast. Have you seen all that snow and ice packed on the roads?
It dawned on me this morning while I was watching more wintry weather video, one thing I have not seen or heard is the global warming crowd.
Every winter for the past ten years it seems when we have heard the Earth is getting warmer because of what we are doing.
Now that it's cold nothing.
They reveled in the fact 2012 was the warmest year ever in the contiguous states.
They didn't mention-- as it was pointed out in the Wall Street Journal-- in 2008, the contiguous U.S. was two degrees cooler than 2006. Or that 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 were all cooler than 1998 by a larger margin than 2012 was hotter than 1998.
Are you getting the picture? None of this was mentioned because it makes a mockery of using trends in the Lower 48 as a proxy for global warming, the misguided intent that permeated media coverage of the NOAA revelation.
It's cold up there, .and I was just wondering.
Thats my point of view, what's yours?
