Nacogdoches, TX — Teaching and remembering are the dual jobs of the Patricia Huffman Smith Remembering Columbia Museum in Hemphill.
Opened in 2011, the museum was six years in the making, said curator Michelle Brown. It was the brainchild of a group of local residents who banded together that winter morning February 2001 when space shuttle Columbia, STS-107, made its final, fateful plunge to Earth.
