NBC — B-M-W is recalling almost 570-thousand cars in the U.S. and Canada.
The company says the cars can unexpectedly stall because of a problem with a battery cable connector.
The recall affects popular 3-series Sedans, Wagons, Convertibles and Coupes from 2007 through 2011.
Also included are I-series Coupes and Convertibles from 2008 through 2012... and the Z-4 sports car from 2009 through 2011.
B-M-W says the battery cable problem caused what it described as "one minor collision" in Canada... but there were no injuries.
