Nacogdoches, Texas (KETK) — Miles McCall is now the Executive Vice President of Commercial Bank of Texas.
Bank officials tell KETK Dr. McCall will be responsible for leading the Communications and Marketing Divisions in each Texas market.
He will manage the coordination and growth of business development efforts, the extension of the CBTx Banking Texas-Style brand, and all aspects of human resources and employee development.

Dr. McCall is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Industrial Psychology.
He went on to earn a Masters in Communication and Business Administration from SFA and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and Business Training from Texas A&M University.
Dr. McCall served as a professor and Vice President at Stephen F. Austin State University for more than 20 years. He is a distinguished professional speaker, consultant and author.
He served as President of Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, Texas from 2005 to 2012 when the Junior college filed for Bankruptcy.
Dr. McCall has served with numerous civic organizations, including serving as President of the Jaycees, Vice President of the United Way, Director of the Boys and Girls Club, Wesley Foundation Chairman of the Board, National President and Chairman of the Board for the National Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, and Past President and Chairman of the Texas Lyceum Association.
Dr. McCall and his wife, Jana Baker McCall, reside in Nacogdoches. They have daughter, Mallory, who graduated from SMU and currently lives and works in Colorado. They also have a son, Mason, who graduated from Texas Tech and now lives and works in Fort Davis, Texas. In his free time, McCall enjoys sailing on the Gulf Coast and riding his motorcycle through the winding roads of East Texas.
