Tyler, TX (KETK) — When I saw this story Monday, I started to get mad and sweat from anger just like I did a month before.
We all know what happened to Congresswoman Gabby Gifford a while back. A deranged man shot her and others. Luckily, she didn't die.
Her husband, Mark Kelly, a former astronaut, has been testifying before Congress and getting on any TV news show he can speaking against so called assault rifles, high capacity magazines and the dangers of semi-auto guns.
I was so mad a month ago and have not watched Chris Wallace on the Fox talking-head Sunday show when Wallace developed a man crush on Kelly commending him on his work, then proceeding to rip Wayne LaPierre's head off right after the fact.
Well, imagine my disgust Monday where I read Captain Kelly went to an Arizona gun shop a few days ago and bought an AR-15 and a high capacity magazine to go along with it, as well as a 1911 semi-automatic pistol.
When finally confronted about it, the former astronaut said, "he was just showing how fast you can be okayed to buy a gun at a gun shop."
He now says he never picked up the AR-15 and never will. But, he was going to turn it in to the Tucson Police Department.
No word on if he is going to keep the 1911. If not, I'll buy it. I don't buy his hypocrisy.
And I hope Chris Wallace hears about this and I wonder will it affect his feelings toward his hero who so defiantly was speaking against guns.
Rules for thee, but not for me.
Hypocrites.
That's my point of view, what's yours?
