Longview, Marshall featured in Battle of the Border

Longview, TX (Longview News Journal) — East Texas rivals Longview and Marshall will play back-to-back games in September at Independence Stadium in Shreveport as the City of Shreveport and the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission holds its annual Battle of the Border High School Football Showcase.

The event, now in its third year, will feature two games on Friday and three on Saturday.
