Tyler, Tx — Today at the Texas Rose Horse Park in Tyler equestrians gathered for the Fourth Annual North Texas Hunter Jumper Club Benefit Show.
Almost seventy equestrians came from all over to raise money for a good cause.
The proceeds from the benefit go towards therapeutic riding; a type of riding which gives those with disabilities a chance to learn how to ride horses.
KETK spoke with trainer Kimberly Brunson, and she tells us that hours of training is not the only work put into this event, saying, "All the donations go to therapeutic riding centers and we split it up between them. Everybody that's here you see except for the judges and the EMT are volunteers so this is a group effort from the North Texas Hunter Jumper Club."
The event is free to the public and will go on until Sunday night.
