LUBBOCK - Two flight crew members were taken to a hospital Tuesday morning, after a FedEx cargo plane crashed in Lubbock.
It happened during landing at the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport.
Although the crew members were taken to the hospital, a FedEx spokesperson says both were able to walk away from the crash.
The plane, an ATR-42 twin-turboprop, was arriving from Fort Worth Alliance Airport in a freezing mist. Officials say it came down at the end of the runway, veered off and caught fire.
An airport director says weather wasn't a factor in the crash.
The flight crew members are still being evaluated.
