As for Hostess, it's most likely both union and mismanagement and add in state and federal tax laws and Obamacare. in general, yes unions are hurting American companies. They enslave their members, over-inflate labor costs, and support politicians that protect union leadership interests. Yes, just like management is always accused, union leadership cares little for labor.
