without dna testing, determining a breed of dog even by the most seasoned canine professionals is extremely difficult at best. as you can tell, reporters including yourself can't even get breeds right as those were BOXERS that attacked the 18 month old child. to answer your question - absolutely not. my pit bulls are great with children, however i would never leave children alone with ANY breed of dog - dogs are not babysitters.
