Under no circumstances should the flag be burned (except for disposal of worn flags by VFW or Boy Scout groups). After seeing torn American flags displayed upside down and the rebel flag displayed above the American flag, it would also seem that some East Texans have equal disrespect for the American flag. If Texas wants to be independent go ahead and secede, fly your own flag, and quit disrespecting the flag of the United States and what it stand for...the UNITED States of America.
