Since when in our society do we expect as parents for other people to raise our children? Educators are in place for that reason, to educate. Many parents in this date and time think "it takes a village". NO!! IT TAKES TWO PARENTS!! If you dont have the time it takes to love and raise your child then quit making babies!! I find it mind boggling that people can sit back and say that it is the school system's fault that these kids are off track. Parents need to stop standing back and thinking the teachers will build their kids into adults. They need to get involved in their kids lives and hold themselves accountable for the adults that they become. Seriously!! These kids are your legacy. And the responsibility starts with the parents!
