What a terrible message these parents are sending to kids! Can you imagine what this boy will be like when he is a teenager? Yes, the schools should have some authority and the parents ought to follow the rules, even if they disagree with them. If they don't like the rules, they should put him in private school or home school the child. Furthermore, a 4-year old isn't old enough to make these kinds of decisions--his parents need to teach him some respect!
