being a retired veteran, i dont believe that 18 year olds, the normal, with out any training, should be able to buy a weapon.
If a young man, of 18 would go thru, the training, that our military, do, in the basic training, and the strict training. then they would be quilified to purchase a weapon.
i've seen, men, having gone thru the strict training of weeks in the class room do big blunders on the firing range.
Even, men, that have required annual trining, even fail.
