Writer says, "With the exception of revolvers it only includes semi-automatic or automatic weapons."
That would include the millions of firearms which are already owned by millions of Law abiding U.S. Gun Owners, not to mention the millions of firearms manufactured and traded within a multi-billion dollar industry which employs millions of law abiding people. Just because the writer may not know this, and he probably doesn't, nor has ever owned a firearm, we'll all try and excuse his ignorance.
