The same thing happened to us about a week and a half ago here in Tyler. Someone stole two pieces of outgoing mail from our mailbox. (A neighbor saw this happen) A couple of days later, my daughter, who had put mail with a check in our mailbox, received a call from someone who found their bill and envelope, but the check was not there. This was reported to Tyler police. Our neighbor described the "perpetrators" as two young white males driving a beige Chevrolet pickup with a black toolbox.
