We live on Lake Tyler East and could not swim or access the lake for almost 2yrs due to the Hydrilla problem. Last year Tyler spent the money to clean out our side of Lake Tyler and since then it has been great, until now! This season the Hydrilla has been creeping back in. We have children who love to swim and do water sports along with their friends, unfortunately the Hydrilla is beginning to get bad enough that we fear the kids getting entangled in its long branches. We do not want to loose total access again and would spend our own money to kill this weed, as would our neighbors, but the City sais we can't.
