Re: Update: Longview Police officer injured in wreck

I was a witness to this accident, it happened right in front of me. The police officer was headed northbound on McCann Road with lights & sirens going. The truck was in the far lane headed west on Loop 281, with a green light. From where they both were coming from there was no way that truck could have seen the cop coming. The officer slowed slightly but not nearly enough for the risk he was taking by running the red light across a major intersection. The truck driver should not be at fault
