Is that statistic about more crime in a dry county than a wet county per capita? Perhaps could it be that Smith county has more crime than an east texas dry county because it has a much higher population?
Reguardless, though adults may drive as far as they need to do get alcohol, teens will have much less exposure to alcohol in a dry county. We need to make every effort possible to ensure the safety of our teens, and to protect them from being tempted in the area of alcohol.
