It is not anything about capabilities.
As a psychotherapist, I know that men are hardwired to protect women. Therefore when a shell is coming in the guys will instinctively protect women at the cost of their lives.
I want my son to ignore this & watch for himself, but I know, as a male he can not be trained out of it.
In an Army , it takes 8 persons to support l fighting man.
Therefore keep women in this type role.
I worked at Fort Hood in Darnall Hospital in the Psych section.
