More gun control laws would make no difference whatsoever. What we need to do is to beef up the punishment of murderers. If one is found guilty of murder and sentenced to death, that sentence needs to be carried out quickly. Automatic appeal - okay - done within no more than 6 months after trial. If lost, execute 30 days following appeal. Stop housing murderers for 20 years before carrying out their punishment. The gun was just the tool used in the crime - someone had to pull the trigger.
