The last four defendants in a TX murder case have been sentenced

SAN ANTONIO - The last of four defendants has been sentenced in a Texas murder case that began with a woman's lie about being raped.
John "Bubba" Rodriguez had pleaded no contest to murder in the 2007 fatal shooting of Nathan Ramirez and testified against his co-defendants.
The San Antonoi Express-News reports the 24-year-old received a 15-year prison sentence Thursday.
On Tuesday, the woman accused of a falsely accusing a boyfriend of rape, leading to the man's murder, was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading "no contest" to robbery in a plea deal.
Melissa Ann Ramos was originally charged with manslaughter.
Forty-year prison terms have been assessed convicted triggerman John McBurnett and Ramos' other boyfriend, James "Clay" Kelly,
who was convicted of arranging the killing.
