Rusk firefighters get new rescue truck

New rig replaces old box truck
Rusk---The Daily Progress is reporting Rusk firefighters have a new piece of equipment.
It's a new rescue truck that replaces the department's old white box truck used to haul tools and bunker gear to calls.
Some of the vehicle’s features include sliding storage trays and tool boards, much more room to store and haul equipment.
Amoung new features included in the 31 foot rig: compartment lighting, a 9,500-pound wench, a generator and a radio bank so the truck can be used as a mobile command center, as needed.
