Former NBA basketball star, David Wesley, has announced the 12th Annual David Wesley Basketball Camp is returning to his hometown of Longview, TX. The camp takes place at Forest Park Middle School June 20-21, 2014.

The children will participate in performance training, dribbling and shooting skills, defensive work, team building and game practice with instruction from a veteran coaching staff and David Wesley himself. Camp sessions, running from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, are open to youth ages 8-17.

Space is limited to the first 100 participants and pre-registration is required at http://www.thedavidwesleyfoundation.org/events.html.

The camp partners with The President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports to promote health, physical activity, fitness, and enjoyment for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities through participation in physical activity and sports. Lunch is provided to all participants, and special guest speakers about topics on and off the court will talk to the campers each day.

For more information and to register, visit http://www.thedavidwesleyfoundation.org/events.html or call Joseph Filippazzo at 903.452.1439.
