Excellent write up and tells it like it is...too bad the Oklahoma Sooners (Sooner=cheater) Cheaters don't like being exposed for what they are and cannot take the truth for what it is.

The comments that have come from this "Sports Director" definitely prove how clueless some people can be to the BCS ranking system. They also prove how much bias there can be in "News" reporting. I am a proud OSU Cowboy fan and, unfortunately, deal with disappointment every year. Let me just say that I am very impressed with the play of the Big XII this season. I think everyone needs to realize that we have all been guilty of running up the score on someone from time to time. We have also all been the victim at some point. You should also stop to think about the fact that Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford are both Heisman Trophy candidates, which explains why they have both been allowed to play longer then they should in some games. The BCS ranking system has been in place long enough for everyone to know how it works and that there are many flaws. There are 2 simple concepts that everyone should understand. If you want a shot at the BCS Championship and you are from a BCS conference, you must do the following. You must schedule quality opponents and you must WIN YOUR GAMES! If you lose 1 game during a season, you have left the result up to the judges. This is no different then professional boxing or MMA, for example. If you don't knock out your opponent, you leave the decision to the judges. The Longhorns did not miss out on their shot at a Big XII title and BCS Championship because of OU "running up" the score. They were surpassed because of the following fact. The Longhorns were 3-1 against ranked opponents and the Sooners were 5-1 against ranked opponents. You don't have to go back that far to remember the Auburn Tigers undefeated season, but no BCS Championship birth. This is because they had a weak strength of schedule. What about Boise State who will not get a BCS birth this year, but they went undefeated. This, again, is a result of strength of schedule. We all know it is time for a playoff sytem and until the powers that be realize it can happen and doesn't require rocket scientists to create the playoff system, we're stuck with what we have. It's time to break up the division in the Big XII and the SEC and any other conference that his divisions. We also need to get rid of the conference championship games. The top 8 teams could be playing round 1 of the BCS bowls this weekend at the Sugar, Rose, Orange, and Fiesta bowl venues. This would allow the semifinals to be played the first weekend of the normal bowl season, which would add two HUGE bowl games, followed by the BCS National Championship game on its normal schedule. If we can't do that, we should at least challenge the conferences that play championship games to design their system to ensure it is always Conference #1 vs. Conference #2 against each other in the Conference Championship game. I'm a Cowboy fan, but if we don't have a shot then I support the Sooners followed by anyone in the Big XII. I would rather see a Big XII National Champion then anyone else. I leave you all with this final tidbit. The Sooners had a great season, but they lost to Texas. Texas had a great season, but they lost to Tech. Tech had a great season, but got dismantled by OU. In the end, you all left it up to the judges and OU came out on top. Go Pokes!!! Go Sooners!!! Go Longhorns!!! Go Big XII!!!

Check out this OU t-shirt. Hilarious! Everyone should wear one to the conference &/or national championship!

Wow, who knew Danny had so many loyal viewers across the Red River...never thought KETK's signal could reach all those rabbit ears in OK.

I say give the man a raise - he must have boosted hits on his station's site tremendously.

I didn't think Mack Brown's interview during the half of the OU/OSU game was very classy but I believe if you asked him what he thought about this commentary he would politely decline to comment.

Mack is a good coach and greatly respects Bob Stoops as a coach and an opponent. I don't know how he feels about Barry Switzer but you never saw him reduced to name calling.

I grew up in Texas and Oklahoma. I'm an OU fan and I'm embarassed for your News station.

Maybe I am wrong, but I thought the point of an offense was to score as many points as possiable. If you do not want OU to score - put a defence on the field that can stop them. Hey Texas fans...Eat a d###!

Trailer Trash to the north HUH LOL Works both ways as you know us OU fans can always tell when a Longhorn is married, How...by the tobacco spit stains on the outside of both his pickup doors.
Hey you all Texas fans and ESPN and other media outlets Please keep whinning , heck do it every single day , do it all day and all night to. Do until or after Xmas, even to after the new yr, and guess what the outcome will still be the same OU in the Big 12 C game. Waste your time and energy we don't care whine whine whine while ou enjoys the Big 12 game win or lose, then whine some more and after that heck whine some more wear yourselves out....amd guess what OU will still have played in the Big 12 C game .LOL,LOL,LOL,LOL. I would have earlier addmitted it isn't fair that three team tied and that maybe the Big 12 C game should include them , but not after all the whinning , so now whine some more and some more as nothing changes. LOL,LOL,LOL.

Texas was the last all white team to win the national championship. Texas's reserve offensive lineman makes a racial slur/comment about Barack Obama.

Based on this moron's logic it must mean that all Texans are racist.

#11 TCU & #13 Cincinnati
NR Rice & NR Arkansas.

Play someone and you might get the Bid Texas.

The UT fans on here are stupid. For you guys to be so smart (as you claim), It amazing how you cant understand that you cant use head-to-head results in a situation with a three-team tie in which the three teams have beaten each other. Using UT logic, what makes them more deserving than Tech (who beat you). My question to the UT fans is: Under what circumstances would either Tech or OU have been more deserving to go to the championship game than UT?
