SAN ANTONIO --- Former John Tyler receiver Teddy Williams signs with the Cowboys. He's an All-American sprinter with UTSA. Williams hasn't played football since leaving John Tyler with an ankle injury. He's now practicing as a cornerback for the Cowboys.

While many on the team are trying to gain some weight, Coach Wade Phillips is trimming down. Some say he's lost up to 40 pounds from last season. It may be due to the arrival of his new granddaughter; Ivy Phillips. He jokes he should be hired as a spokesman for Nurtrisystem, since that's the diet plan he's been following.

Phillips says, at his age, looking a little slimmer can be tricky, "When you're younger they say, boy you look like you're in good shape and you're really doing good. When you get older they say, are you sick? What's wrong with you? It's just something personally I wanted to do. I've lost ten pounds since the minicamp. So that's, that was significant for me."
