Former ETX football coach stripped of AD title at north TX area high school

According to Dallas media reports, a former Canton Eagles football coach, Baylor assistant and father of star quarterback, G.J. Kinne, has been stripped of his title as Athletic Director at Sherman High School.
Reports state Gary Kinne was relieved of AD duties after being suspended by the University Scholastic League for participating in 7-on-7 football, which is a violation of the UIL bylaws.
Kinne, who's in his fifth year at Sherman, was a standout middle linebacker at Baylor University from 1986 through 1989. Since then, he has become a highly successful high school football coach in the Lone Star state before returning to the collegiate sidelines as lthe Baylor linebackers coach in January 2006.
Kinne signed a free-agent contract with the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles and was drafted by the World Football League's Orlando Thunder in 1989.

1992-93: Kaufman (Texas) High School - Defensive Coordinator
1996: Allen (Texas) High School - Assistant
1997-01: Mesquite (Texas) High School - Assistant
2002: Mesquite (Texas) High School - Defensive Coordinator
2003-05: Canton (Texas) High School, Head Coach/Athletic Director
