Former REL QB, Matt Flynn, signs with Bills
Tyler, Texas (KETK) — Former Robert E. Lee star and LSU quarterback, Matt Flynn, has made a cross-country journey and signed with the Buffalo Bills.
After getting cut by the Raiders last week, it seemed Flynn may not may be picked up this season, but the Bills thought different.
Flynn was in the running to be the Oakland's starting quarterback, but lost the job to Terrelle Pryor.
Flynn played in two games for Raider Nation with one start. In those two games, Flynn went 22-34 for 246 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
Bills quarterback, Thad Lewis, sprained his foot in Sunday’s overtime loss to Cincinnati.
Flynn, a former seventh round pick by the Packers in 2008, was officially signed Monday morning after the veteran play called worked out for the Buffalo staff.
