FRIDAY FOOTBALL FEVER: Week 5 private school round-up

Friday Football Fever
Saturday, October 5, 2013 - 12:13am

Tonight was by far one of the most exciting nights this season in private school football, it was homecoming night at T.K. Gorman.

The Bishop T.K. Gorman Crusaders held their homecoming game against a team from the Metroplex, the Carrollton Prince of Peace Eagles.

It was hard to find a seat at Monsenior McCallum Stadium as the Crusaders took on the Eagles, and it's no surprise because this was an action packed game.

In the first quarter, Crusader Martin Guzman intercepts and Eagle pass and bolts into the end zone for the first touchdown of the night, but he wasn't the only Crusader making great catches.

Christian Watkins intercepts another Eagle pass and takes off, but is stopped before crossing the goal line.

In the end Gorman picked up their third win of the season rolling over Prince of Peace 45-14.
