Kilgore started the season against Corsicana last September.

Cameron Washington ran through the Ragin' Red for 240 yards and two touchdowns.

Corsicana beat Kilgore that night, 38-13.

Friday night will be the rematch.

Kilgore will play Corsicana in the state quarterfinals Friday night in Forney.

Gilmer will have a rematch as well.

The Gilmer Buckeyes will play Argyle Friday night in Corsicana.

Gilmer lost to Argyle in the playoffs last year 41-14, but the Bux haven't lost since.

Gilmer is unbeaten so far this season.

The Buckeyes are ranked fourth statewide.

Coach Jeff Traylor has won two state championships at Gilmer.

He's won 86% of his games.

That's the third-best winning percentage among all active coaches in Texas.

His son, Jorday Traylor, threw for 399 yards against Van Alstyne last week, the most for a Buckeye quarterback since G. J. Kinne five years ago.

Gilmer has either won the state championship of lost to the eventual state champ in six of the past eight years.
