Before he was a star at Marquette, before he was playing for the Chicago Bulls, Jimmy Butler roamed Wagstaff Gym as a member of the Tyler Junior College Apaches.

The Bulls were so impressed with what they saw out of Butler in his rookie season, they have exercised a team option and signed him through the 2013-2014 season.

The Bulls season starts Wednesday night.
