Giants Beat Falcons, Ross Concussed
New York Giants cornerback Aaron Ross and backup running back D.J. Ware were both knocked out of Sunday's NFC wild-card game against the Atlanta Falcons with concussions.
The Former John Tyler Lion was hurt in a collision with teammate Jason Pierre-Paul early in the third quarter diving to catch a pass that was batted at the line of scrimmage.
The first half looked like a defensive struggle, but the Giants pulled away in the second half to beat the Falcons 24-2 and advance in the NFL playoffs.
The Giants got their ground game going first, but quarterback Eli Manning connected with Hakeem Nicks for a pair of touchdowns and put the game away early in the fourth quarter with a third TD pass, this time to Mario Manningham.
The Giants will face the Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers next Sunday.
