Josh Hamilton is hardly Twitter's No. 1 fan, but the four-time All-Star also isn't a fan of people who claim to be him on the social networking site.

So, on Tuesday, he launched an official Twitter account (@thejoshhamilton) in an effort to give the fans the real deal. He is awaiting for Twitter to verify the account, but had already gained 29,949 followers as of 5:15 p.m.
