Henderson, TX — Henderson's Tiarra Davis helped lead the Lions to the 3A title game.

Now she's taking her softball skills to Austin, to play for the Longhorns.

KETK spoke with her after she signed her letter of intent on Wednesday morning. Davis says she couldn't have done it alone to get to where she is today.

"I'm very proud, but I couldn't do it without the people that have helped me," she said.

Texas finished the 2011 season 46-10 (11-3) and made it to the NCAA Regional Championships, finishing #8 in the nation.
