Horned Frogs Take on LaTech Wednesday Night

There's plenty at stake in the Poinsettia Bowl when No. 16 TCU faces Louisiana Tech in a showdown of conference champions on Wednesday night.
The victor will carry an eight-game winning streak into 2012.
TCU (10-2), which handed Boise State its only loss, would like to have that momentum when it moves from the Mountain West to the Big 12.
TCU had hoped to play in a BCS game for the third straight year.
Instead, it will make its third Poinsettia Bowl appearance since 2006
Louisiana Tech coach Sonny Dykes says that in a lot of ways, this is the biggest bowl in school history. He says facing TCU - which won the Rose Bowl last season - is a good measuring stick for the Bulldogs, who won the Western Athletic Conference after starting the season 1-4.
