Daingerfield’s Kelshin Neal made it a clean sweep of statewide awards on Wednesday when he shared Defensive Player of the Year honors on the 63rd annual Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Writers Association Class 2A All-State Football Tea
Jeff Traylor has been the head coach of the Gilmer Buckeyes for 14 years.
During that time he's had 95 players sign with college football teams.
That adds up to $10 million dollars worth of scholarships.
Gilmer and Bullard will be in a new district 5-4A.
The buckeyes and the Panthers will be joined by Canton, Melissa, Emory Rains and Nevada Community.
Gladewater and Spring Hill will be in the new 6-4A.
