Seattle Mariners pitcher Felix Hernandez threw the 23rd perfect game in MLB history Wednesday afternoon.

Hernandez struck out a total of 12 batters on his quest for perfection.

It's the third of the 2012 season, the second to happen at Safeco Field this year.

The Giants Matt Cain threw one on June 13th against Houston.

And former Carthage Bulldog Philip Humber threw one for the White Sox against the Mariners back on April 21st.
