The seventh ranked Lady Jackets assault first overcame a 1-0 Central Heights lead in the opener and then they completely dominated game two, with both games played at the Brook Hill Schools in Bullard.

The Mineola win means the Lady Jackets (30-1) will play Linden-Kildare (30-3) in the Regional Finals Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 5 p.m. at Northeast Texas Community College near Mount Pleasant for the right to represent East Texas in the State Softball Tournament in Austin.
